Sandwich panels with polyurethane foam (PIR, PUR), m²
Facade materials
Sandwich panels with polyurethane foam are a modern construction material designed for insulating/cladding facades and roofs on residential, commercial, industrial, and administrative buildings. They consist of a three-layer panel where polyurethane foam (PIR or PUR) is placed between two steel sheets (0.45-0.7mm thick). The panel thickness ranges from 60 to 200mm.
Depending on the type of filler used in the sandwich panel, either PIR or PUR polyurethane foam can be used. They are nearly identical in technical and operational characteristics, except for fire resistance: PIR is more resistant to the effects of fire, preventing it from penetrating deeply (it melts), while PUR burns with the release of corrosive thick smoke.
Advantages of Sandwich Panels with Polyurethane Foam
- Thermal insulation properties. Panels have a high thermal conductivity resistance coefficient of 0.022 W/mK (the best indicator in the segment).
- High quality. During production, ArcelorMittal (EU) and Arvedi (Italy) metals are used, as well as Huntsman (Germany) and Dow (Netherlands) polyurethane foam.
- Reliability. An average service life is 30+ years without a loss of thermal insulation qualities.
- Aesthetics. Panels have an attractive facade that can have any color from the RAL palette.
